Alex, Managing Partner at Boult, is a high technology specialist with a doctorate in Physics and Electronics from the University of Oxford. His main areas of practice are in the fields of physics, electronics and electrical engineering. Alex has been a frequent visitor to China for many years and is currently working with Chinese clients in various technical fields.

Catherine entered Cambridge University in 1987 and obtained a degree in Oriental Studies (Chinese) in 1991. Her course involved the systematic study of Chinese language and history; she has been a frequent visitor to China ever since. She has worked with a wide range of clients in the commercial sector. In addition to regular visits to China with Dr Frost, Catherine has also attended events in China as a Past President of CITMA. She has joined UKIPO to represent UK trade mark attorney practitioners in Hong Kong and China. She is currently Vice-Chair of CITMA’s Law and Practice Committee and is a member of the International Working Group, the Executive Committee and the CITMA Council.
